History

Blue Reign has had the distinct honor of opening for two national acts, “The Nighthawks” and “Albert Cummings”. Performing on the local scene since 2006, you’ve seen them at the Bucks County Blues Society’s Fall Fling in Levittown, PA, the Delaware Valley Flag Memorial in Falls Township, PA, McStew’s Irish Pub’s “Blue Thursday”, formerly based out of Levittown, PA, the Langhorne “Concert in the Park” Summer Series in Langhorne, PA, the TD Bank Amphitheater Summer Concerts in Bensalem, PA, the Burlington County Amphitheater in Westampton, NJ, the Paoli Blues Fest, Paoli, PA, and the Bristol Wharf Summer Concert Series in Bristol, PA.   Not to exclude many local pubs and bars in PA and New Jersey.

Blue Reign has the most prestigious honor of recognition as the “Best Live Blues Performance” award by the Montgomery Bucks Music Awards for 2010.   With a CD of original material under their belt, “Driving Under the Influence of the Blues”, Blue Reign enjoys regular internet radio rotation in the Lehigh Valley, PA and Trenton, NJ listening areas, and have competed in the International Blues Competition as a result of their first CD.

Currently: As the band has evolved, the shows now include current pop hits, soul and danceable funk (with a sprinkling of blues), and it is constantly updating.  They make it a point to add new music to each show, so the audience never knows what to expect.  Engaging and entertaining, this group likes to keep the audience involved at all times.

Blue Reign has also been seen in the local Out on the Town magazine, and have been featured in Chester County Life magazine, as well as many live radio interviews.
